Twitter for Windows Phone

Twitter for Windows Phone - Undoubtedly, social media called Twitter has become part of our daily lives. Through Twitter, we can easily and cool to share everything with the other side of life. From eat, business, holiday, even to confide because singles. Twitter itself provides its services on a variety of platforms. One of them, of course, is Twitter for Windows Phone.

Twitter for Windows Phone

As usual, there is the view that this is on Twitter: Timeline, Mentions, and Message. At the bottom there is a button Refresh, Compose (write a new tweet), Message (write DM), and Search. When we tap more [...] sign, it will display another option, namely Setting and Profile. We can choose the display theme, if you want dark or light.

Twitter for Windows Phone does not support realtime streaming. So we have to wait for future updates or refreshes the timeline to see a new tweet. Switching tabs (eg from Timeline to Mention) automatically refreshes the tab in question. So even to reply, retweet, or other activities. We need to tap certain tweets in advance. Then after the new tweets appear we encountered reply and retweet buttons. For Favorite, Quote Tweet (Edit & Retweet), and Translate, we must tap more [...] sign. There are also facilities Tweets Mail (send a tweet that we choose via email) and Text Tweets (send tweets via text that we choose). Unfortunately, there are no facilities to Reply All here.

To share photos, when we push the camera button, we'll be taken to the photo album we have in the Picture Hub. To shoot straight, we press the camera button at the bottom (view gallery earlier). We can arrange photos according to our choice. Available services yfrog, TwitPic, TweetPhoto and Twitter.

So far, there is no facility to pin to the Start Screen for particular tab. In addition, the Push Notification is not yet available as well. So we must be diligent to check this app to see updates Mention or DM.

It may be the official application of Twitter is not enough to help us. But can be called sufficient. If less happy with this application, there is also another Twitter application on the Windows Phone marketplace, such as Mehdoh or Rowi.

This application is available in the Windows Phone marketplace, and free.
